extensive backlog of pottery photos, circa 2009

I've gotten back into pottery over the last few months and figured that before posting new photos I should get some of my work from 2 years ago up here.  :-)

The 2nd honeypot with a double lip / lid slot that I've made. I'll have access to these glazes again, once a friend and I get our little pottery studio up and running.

A spherical vase with a celadon crackle glaze outside, shino inside.

A set of tumblers, with matching bowl.

A large serving bowl, overlapping glazes with stippling.  This was made at a community center studio that only had 4 glazes.

My 1st sake bottle, made with the same glazes used for the bowl above.

Toothbrush holder for a large household.

Cute little teacup.

Double walled / insulated sake bottle and cup set.

My favorite bowl so far, the subtle details don't show up well here.

16 inch porcelain sink, glaze application based on the bowl above.  It sits partially inset into the counter, there's a lip where you see white near the bottom.  These photos turned out a more green than actual (rim has more rust brown.)

There are many more pieces that were never photographed -- gifted away or (rarely) broken in short order.

I'll post something more current in the not-too-distant future.  Goodnight, and good luck.
