Vilnius Photo Circle 2009
Dear Colleagues,
It is the third international press photographers’ festival “Vilnius Photo Circle” already that the Lithuanian Press Photographers club is holding this October.
This year the festival exhibitions will be composed of the works from the festival competition "Circle of Life" and the programme for young photographers "Home Work".
At the end of October, (preliminary from 23 to 25), the "Photographers’ Weekend" will be held in Vilnius, which will include lectures and tutorials as well as the awarding of the winners of this festival.
The competition the "Circle of Life" is a completely new stage of this festival. It is a competition for social theme photo stories about our everyday life.
A photo story is expected to consist of between 4 and 20 photos. The deadline for this competition is 5th October 2009.
The best 10 to 15 of the photo stories selected by an international jury will be exhibited during this festival and eventually published in the journal "Photo Circle".
