DH Trailer
I will probably do a Real Life post sometime soon, I hope. But I just watched the first trailer of "Deathly Hallows". It looks good and I'm quite excited by its release. I was really hoping for Mike Newall to direct it, though, as I loved GoF. I just watched HBP again recently - not a huge fan of it so I'm not really thrilled with David Yates directing DH. Unlike other people, I am glad it's being split into two movies. There were many slow moving parts in the books, but I don't want to see a lot of cuts made to cram everything in to 2 1/2 hours or less. I am now trying to decide if I should re-read the book before the release. I hadn't read HBP before the movie and I think that helped me. I didn't spend the whole movie waiting for scenes that didn't happen, get upset at Dumbledore's lines being given to Hermione, etc. But it's been so long since I read DH that I think I will. In any case, I have until November to make up my mind. :-)
There was a line in the trailer where Ron yelled at Harry, "Your family is dead! You don't understand!" or something to that affect. Chillls.
