sitting in the great and extravagant Chief motel in mccook, ne owned by the parents of the great bobby "kennedy" stewart. what joy and thanks do i have for putting me up in this hotel for the weekend. lunch at the country kitchen, also owned by the 'warts. and (for marty) world cup soccer upon waking - pk shots win by portugal - and now with france scoring the first goal vs the greats of brazil and still dominating and dictating the pace. what happened to brazil today? all too much to enjoy on such a hot afternoon in nebraska's hot spot.
