(no subject)
I get to go to the Lake this week-end with my friend, her hubby, and a bunch of her other friends. I am actually pretty excited about it. Erik doesn't want to go because he hates the "fishy smell" even though the lake doesn't have it at all and when I am at the ocean in California, I can't even smell it there, but that's just his loss. I really wish he would come, we have so much fun while we are at the beach in the summer (me, mom, and marita make an annual trip out of it one week-end a year), but oh, well. He has to work this weekend, anyway. They just changed his schedule again, so now he is down to only 2 days a week on 12-hours shifts which happen to be Friday and Saturday night.
Me, Marita, Mom, Erik, Lizzy (my adopted sis), and Shanny & Bri (my friend and her hubby who I am beaching with...) are going to see X3 on Monday when we get back from the beach. I am so friggin excited about seeing that movie - I can't think about anything else. I caught X1 and X2 on tv yesterday and the day before and they had special 5 minute previews of X3; its looks so awesome. I am happy beast is in this one - I always liked him. Erik really likes Gambit - I wonder when they'll bring him and Jubilee in...?
I am also pretty excited it's almost time for Smaville season 5 to come out on dvd. I have been waiting (not so paitently) for that. I missed the first 5 episodes in a row, so after a while I just said "fuck it" and I'll wait for the dvd to come out and watch them all in order one after another and just make a weekend out of it. That will be funner, anyway.
Well, I'm at work right now and bored as hell becuase it is a Staff Development Day, no kids at school and sp there is nothing going on. But, I guess that's a good thing, because I am able to do stuff like update my livejournal which I haven't done in forever.
