i have an excuse for why i didn't update yesterday!
and it is that i got in a car accident. motherfucker. i parked at the dentist's office, turned my car off and everything, and meanwhile the lady next to me is backing out. i start to get out and then *THUNK*.
"goddammit" matt muttered under his breath. he got out of the car to discover that, to his horror, some wench smashed her front, driver's side fender into his rear passenger door. shock turned to horror as the massive scratches and paint were on his car, and the retard's car had a dent the size of a football in the fender. as the window rolled down, the woman was in hysterics.
okay. no more narrative. the bitch rolled her window down and was all "WTF WHY DID YOU PARK AND LET ME BACK INTO YOU LIKE A RETARD?", as if her plowing the nearest section of the car to the driver's seat was somehow my fault. she got out to yell at the dentist (although the car didn't seem to have any tooth problems), and the daughter in the passenger seat, in her OLP uniform, said "sorry, my mom's a spaz". spaz enough as she was, her car was literally stuck together to mine. we had to pull and tug to get it freed, and afterwards exchanged information. the spaz seemed as if she'd done this several times before, what with the piece of pre-filled insurance information she handed to me (seriously, it was like a sticky note that had all her shit printed on it), and the fact that she knew her driver's license number BY HEART. i called my parents, and they naturally freaked out. between them yelling at me and her being a spaz, i could hardly even think, but whatever. i got it done and went to the dentist and then went home.
on top of that, nobody at boy scouts has been able to take my saturday shift at the tree lot. i'm actually very worried, because that would mean i'd have to work meaning no julie's party. fortunately though, there's a few people who i haven't gotten to talk to personally but left messages asking if they could cover me, and hopefully someone can. if not though, i have no idea what to do.
anyways, after all THAT shit, i went and did a month's worth of voss's homework for today's homework quiz
i opened my backpack this morning to discover i left it at home. great. luckily, i brought the textbook, and had almost enough time to copy all the questions down so i could at least do that. which i did, although he asked 2 questions i didn't have answers for.
then today i went and worked on chem labs, and finally came home to find that efron finally got opposing fronts, so we played a game, Panzer Elite vs. British. i was brits, and was losing HORRIBLY but then came out of nowhere to conquer. but then he got panther tanks, and all i had for AT was PIATS and that's only good for like... armored cars and marders. or if you have trenches, but his goddamn incindiary grenades got me. motherfucker.
so yeah. that was my series of unfortunate events. ALSO ALSO, i'm going to try and see if i can get rockband today, and if all goes well with the tree lot, we can play it at julie's. funtimes!
EDIT: i'm not gonna know until after 9:00 tonight. i have only one person who can possibly cover for me, and when i talked to them, they said that there was only a maybe. so i'm very worried that i won't be able to make it. on top of that, it's likely to rain very hard tomorrow, which would further hinder our plans. i'm praying that this all works out though
