Tips for the day

Rememer, if you do something for someone over the age of 35, they will always come back to you, and look to you to do this for them again and again.

this reminds me of, "Give a man a fish, feed him for a life time. Teach a man how to fish, feed him for a life time"... to extend that quote... "Charge the man for the fish, feed yourself for a life time."

I have found that doing things for people, for free, brings them back to me only to have the same problem.. and when I try to teach them how to do it.. they normally answer me. "But thats why I have you..." Then, the 3rd or 4th time they come to me.. and I say I am a little busy.. so they wait a day and ask again...if I don't answer back soon enough they get pissy... at the free work I should be doing for them..

Moral of the story... Don't do anything for free.

I don't understand why the older generations feel there is no need to learn anything new. Perhaps I am just to young and in "that stage" where learning is still facinating.
