Short!

Bonner retreat was last weekend Fri night-Saturday morning and it was pretty good because I just hung out with fellow Bonners. There's only really 2 that I don't like.

Then I had a nervous panic attack where I felt terrible. I was also incredibly exhausted that weekend and took 3 naps on Sunday and STILL couldn't understand Physics.

Finally felt better after I took my Chem test yesterday (which I think I did well on, but I'll see) and turned in my Physics Lab report. PHEW. Load off my chest.

Actually did Physics yesterday and understood it fairly well. Some of it was so easy that I was obv feeling TERRIBLE to not have been able to understand it.

But now I have a Research Methods Test on Friday and a Physics test next Wednesday. Ahh!! Physics will be hard!!

BUT. Good news.

My Research Methods prof had us do an assignment recently which he gave us statistics about how the class last year did. He sent us 2 emails and talked to us in class about how the more prepatory assignments people did, the better grade they got. Well, guess what. ONLY SIX PEOPLE did all the prep assignments. The prep assignments weren't even that long.

And because people are lazy and apparently many rich kids think that they're smart enough not to have to work hard ---> my prof spent the entire 1st day of class talking about how most students at rhodes were praised for being smart their entire life and therefore barely do any work and are worthless (I thought this was all ridiculous because I work my butt off!)---> the average was only a 72 (which was an all time low for his class) and most people didn't do so well. But I was 1 of 3 who got an A! :) Yay.

Other than that, I have also found out about an opportunity for me to become an Americorps member and receive an additional 1,000$ a year toward tuition while doing the volunteer work that I already do! Woohoo. I hope it's as easy as that, I have to go to a meeting about it today. But, I could def use that!

Other than that... I'm hungry... Off to work and nap before I go to the meeting and then run! (BTW, my running has sucked recently since so tired and busy, UGH).
