Human nature - the more something is unattainable, the more you want it. Just like the cookie in the cookie jar stored right up on the top shelf. It might contain the same cookie as the one in the jar on the table, but you JUST WANT to grab the one on the top shelf. And more often than not, once you have a taste of it, you wouldn't bother looking up the top shelf the next time.
Fact of life - you tell yourself you are OK. But somehow, when you learn about something, and it pricks your heart, and messes with your mind, you know that you are still not over it. Well, not fully I guess.
