It's been two days since my dad and I went to Charleston on vacation. I had such an amazing time! Apart from how short it was, everything was wonderful. We spent the first day shopping downtown and scotuing out all of the boutiques and seaside attractions. We look long strolls down alleys looking at the old houses and churches. Some of the cemetaries were amazing, I couldn't believe how old some of the tombstones were (1700s and up!). Next time I visit, I would like to check out a ghost tour, you could just imagine all of the people in their town attire and huge flowing dresses. It was a mind trip. We managed to stay healthy and eat one meal, I had a slice of vegetarian pizza and a Sierra Nevada beer. Considering we were on vacation, I was pleased with myself. The next day we took John's boat on the water and explored. The ocean was so refreshing! We went island to island and stopped to take swims. I got a nice tan, hooray! Johnny didn't drive up- I was happy because I could be myself without having to worry about what he thinks of me. On the second day I had a banana and coffee for breakfast and shrimp and scallops for dinner. Not too bad, but I could have eaten a smaller portion! All in all it was a great break from Miami. I'm really beginning to get sick of this city. Everyone is out to get something and they don't care who they hurt in the process. Just the other day I saw two young girls with two guys trying to prostitute themselves off to an old businessman on the metrorail. I was so bothered by the situation that I got off at the next stop and waited for another bus. I can't believe the nerve of some people! As for the roomate situation, I'm having some difficulty. They continue to use my things and drink my beverages without asking. I don't touch any of their stuff and finally had it this morning before class. I left a note on the refridgerator saying, "If you didn't by it DON't take it! -Megan" We'll see what they have to say about it tonight... I have to find another room or apartment somewhere else. Other than that, everything is going well. I just got a new book on great abs. I'm going to start the exercise program and see what results I get! It seems foolproof, even for me! George and John are in town for the weekend so we'll probably go to a Hookah place later. It should be a good time.

Thats all,
Megan
