Gah!
Why don't we just leave this voting crap to people who know best? Not people like me. Hell, I didn't even know voting was going on 'till I woke up this morning and apparently I got a primer sent to me. I don't know who's running, or if we're even voting for people, or both, or whatever. Now that I look at it, I guess its for propositions or something. Why am I, someone who cares nothing about politics, voting? See the flaw in this system is that if I do not vote, someone else's vote is going to be disproportioned. But the other problem is that I am voting based on an ignorant mind. Do I study geopolitics? No. Study economics? No. Did I go/am currently going to law school? No.
I, just like every average American out there, have absolutely no way of proving, professionally or logically, whether a proposition is actually going to have a major impact or have good or bad effects, to what degrees, and why.
I can't help but feel after voting that I am only furthering the acceptance of uneducated voting. Isn't America great? Where laws and elections are decided by people who don't live here/are here illegally, by blind fanatics, and by people who have no clue about anything legal or economic.
