Turquoise Summer

May 28, 2005 20:47

The summer of my 14th year, I wore turquoise.

~first sentence of the memoirs I shall eventually write

I did go shopping with my fairy godmother and it was WONDERFUL!!!! I now have clothes! I bought two sundresses (it's been years since I owned a dress, so that was fun), a beautiful skirt, two pairs of summery sandals, a plain white t-shirt, sunglasses, a jacket, and a *whisper* bra. Oh, and some great wide-leg pants too. The skirt, one dress, a pair of shoes, the sunglasses and the jacket are all turquoise (thus the title). I suppose the shade is in vogue at the moment, but at least it's one I like. It makes my eyes look remarkably less blue than they are. In burgundy, my eyes are blue. In turquoise, they're grey/green. Dad has prohibited me painting my nails or my eyes to match, however. I am now a fashion plate *poses*

Mozzle's birthday party was today. Very fun. It was a pizza party, so I knitted him a piece of pizza. He had several of his little first-grade friends there, two of which totally whupped my butt at air hockey. I ate too much cake and now am apparently never going to be able to eat again. *is bloated*

I'm bored again, so watch out! here comes another top ten list. This one shall be for..... oh, I don't know.... television shows. Yeah, that's good. Unfortunately many of these are over for the season, so that's a little upsetting. And several are cancelled. this one shall have no annotations, as I really do wish to get some sleep eventually.

10: Spaced
9: What Not to Wear
8: Desperate Housewives
7: Daria
6: Gilmore Girls
5: Futurama
4: Veronica Mars
3: Sports Night
2: Firefly
1: Grey's Anatomy

shows my family likes that I don't really care all that much about, although I will watch them.

~Enterprise
~Joan of Arcadia
~Tru Calling
~House (funny, it's similar to Grey's Anatomy, but somehow I don't like it as much)

To repeat a (IMHO) funny joke....

*lightning*
*eggbeaters*

Oh, and a gift-giving hint I forgot to give out last night but that I need to as it's so important I can't believe I forgot: SOMEBODY BUY ME THE FAIRY GODMOTHER BY MERCEDES LACKEY!!!

there, now dip that in sugar, coat it in nice words, soften the impact and send it out into the world. If an angelic person got me The Fairy Godmother by Mercedes Lackey, I would be very much obliged and would love them for ever and ever. *sniff* my little statement's all grown up.

Do not try to comprehend me.

or, as my sister and I say due to many typos and odd misspoken exchanges,

Donut try to come behead me.
