my weekend. i loved it. most of it.
friday night Christopher and I headed to onetwothreefour or whatever the place was to see Chris, or heligoats, play. if anyone knows me at all, you know i adore troubled hubble and chris, well he is the love of my life. so for him to put on a solo show....in someone's living room...pretty fucking great for me. the place was great. the people were great. i really really enjoyed myself Friday night. i had lots of fun with christopher too, i havent hung out with him in a while. so we had that. and the Rabbits - the cutest band of all time. oh man, so cute. i cant even describe it. and jason anderson is the happiest most enthusiastic man of all time and i adored him as well. and Chris from the hubb is so awkward ... its so attractive. being in the same room as him and in that whole atmosphere just, made me smile all night long. and even though i missed the Limbeck show because we ended up staying there all night, it was quite worth it. Limbeck will come back around. i'll survive.
saturday i hung out with the coy kids for the day and afterwards i picked up Tracy and we headed to the city. first, we stopped at the metro. we got our faint tickets, she wont be 18 yet so we're going to the all ages so whoever will be there let me know!! and then, since she'll be 18 by then, we got our michael ian black tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i wish it actually said his name on the ticket. or had his photo. something. i'm so excited for that i cant even describe it to you. well yes i can. i'm skipping out on an Incubus show to attend it. there ya go!
all the scene kids in line for the killers were there really early too. it made me smile. Sara and Carly drove by me in a sweet mini van and i wish i could've like talked to them but there was no way. those girls are too cute and i really wish i hung out with them. i also ran into derek, strangest thing. he was in the chicago music exchange one day playing and got offered a job, so he works there now. and tweedy was in there the other day. Jeff Tweedy. my inspiration to keep on going. oooh that lucky bastard.
anyways he ended up going to pick me up with Tracy and I and theres nothing i love more than a waiter or waitress at pick me up. but imagine this .... a gay waiter. ah yes, how happy did it make me. he usually has morning shifts, so that explained why we never see him. oh he made me super happy.
afterwards, we hung out at the Alley for no apparent reason...well maybe a reason but it's a secret. you will find out next time we hang out.
finally we ended up at rivereast amc and saw garden state. beautiful, as usual. except for stupid people in our row. they were like 12. immature. they can shove it. then we snuck into donnie darko which is the most amazing movie to see in theatres, but left halfway through it. Tracy's face went numb and she got really dizzy and it was really scary b/c she couldnt figure out what was wrong. so we flew home and headed to the ER in arlington heights. to make a long story short, we got there at 11:00 o'clock. I left at 4:00 am. Tracy was still there, with her dad. It's really cool that doctors get paid so much money, to do nothing. to ignore their patients. to put us out in the hallway in front of a crazy person's room. awesome.
anywho, i had to get up and hang w/ the coy kids again today so now i'm pretty beat. and yes, sunday night at 6:30 i'm about to go to sleep.
i will see Lisa this weekend. and words, yet alone typing through livejournal, could not express my excitement.
zzzzzzzzzzzz snooze zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz sleep time
