i love how they found, well not "love," some 170 sunnis in a prison guarded by shia's all tourtered and shit and the head of the prison's best line is, "at least no one was beheaded."
what's a fucking joke at the moment is that we're trying to run out of there. and fine with me, but that place is fucked if we do. Its called Yugoslavia. this has happened before. we're gonna have to go back to stop tit for tat genocides that will carried out between those two groups. As it stands now, Iraqi security forces aren't even united under one commander. they all hate eachother, if the police can't even get along with other police, that place is fucked.
defense is the primary goal of any government, without providing basic safety for you're population your country isn't a country. it is Afghanistan. yay for america. consitutions, parliments, judges and panels don't mean shit if you're population is living in fear of revenge murders. especially if said insitutions have no power to stop said injustices.
