Of all the possible creatures for Tybalt to catch he has to find a bat? I don't even know how a bat could have gotten into my apartment. I wasn't quite annoyed that he had a dead thing in my living room. I was pissed that he killed a bat; I like bats. Of course he had to do this three hours after I fell asleep as well.
I called the vet because I'm rather worried of Tybalt catching some disease. They told me that it would cost $30 to have the bat tested for rabies … but if Tybalt has already contracted it there's nothing they can do. I figure that since I don't really have thirty bucks to drop on something like this I'll just keep an eye out for rabid behavior (which could be hard to discern from his normal behavior.)
