Am back. The new chapter is up (@ Schnoogle), go read it if you haven't yet. I'm fuming at the lack of reviews.
The trip was productive. Didn't get much of a tan, mostly since I spent too much time underwater. Again. Got loads of photos, once I'll sort them through and resize them to Web-able sizes, I'll put some up in here.
Visited Venice and Trieste with one-day excursions (loads of fun, also managed to get ahold of Iron Maiden's "Fear of the Dark" CD :D), did some quality diving, poked fun at how Croatian sounds like simplified Russian, read up on my Gibson.
Speaking of Gibson, "Mona Lisa Overdrive" was confusing. It was awesome in terms of everything but the ending, which, in it's Bulgakov-like-ness, wasn't quite rewarding to the characters. But then again, so were the endings of all of the other books of his that I've read (yeah, except "Virtual Light", which doesn't feel as Gibson-like... Not dark enough :D). Will see if I can do something to recreate that in mah ficcage...
Am now off to get back up-to-date with t3h RPG.
