Graphic Artists Represent!
Jim Krause, author of the wonderful Index series of graphic design books, has just released Design Basics Index. I highly recommed it to anyone interested in design work, at any level - if you're already a pro the exercises can be a good refresher on basics, and if you're not Krause does an excellent job of laying out the principles.
