I'm not used to writing informal letters anymore I'm sorry.
I shouldn't have said -- most of that, I suppose. I love you, and miss you, and was upset and worried and none of what I said actually helped anything at all. I apologize, with all my heart. The last thing I want to do is add to your troubles, and have the feeling that I failed to avoid doing so.
I hope you'll forgive me for it, although I suppose I deserve it if you don't. I still don't know what I can do to help, really, other than be here for you, and I've not even actually done that these past few days. If there is something, though -- anything -- please let me know.
