[The prosecutor's face appears, blinking irritably down at the tiny screen. He seems ruffled, with his hair messy and his cravat wrinkled, and slightly out of sorts.]
This is Miles Edgeworth, prosecuting attorney for the Los Angeles County Court System. The time is--
[He scowls, squinting at the screen and turning the device over in his hands before muttering something about reading glasses as he glances around the room. Then he sighs heavily, looking back at the screen with a glare that suggests his attempt to set the device on fire with the power of his rage alone.]
I've been informed that they intend on keeping us here against our will. What I'd like to know is how many of us are out there, and how many different places we were taken from. If this is a matter of international security, you can bet I'll be informing the proper authorities of what appears to be a mass kidnapping...
[His hard expression wavers a bit, brows drawing together as a note of uncertainty enters his voice.]
