so saturday i woke up early and spent all day in new york city. it was my dad, gpop, bro(tails) and me. we drove up to north jersey and took a ferry across the river. the whole point for the trip was for me to see the
MoCCA(Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art) fest that was being held over the weekend. there i met sam brown from
explodingdog.com and jeph jacques from
questionablecontent.net. it was pretty cool. they both drew me pictures and signed them. x) well, here are the pictures from the trip...
me, tails & sam brown
on our way from the art expo to the best pizza of the city(patsy's) we had to go through the spanish harlem section... during the puerto rico day parade.
yea it was fun to walk through the crowd. really.
they had a cop on a lifeguard stand chair in the middle of the crowd to make sure everyone was safe
we had to take the subway everywhere we went
we went to central park; that's my grandpop at the belvedere castle
i crossed a branch bridge..
then we saw the john lennon tribute at strawberry fields
and then my dad danced with his ipod. if anyone ever steals one of those posters, give it to him please.
so all in all it was a great trip. things not pictured are the trips to time square and the world trade center memorial. those places were both totally awesome. i really enjoyed the city and... even though i was born and raised in south jersey and nyc is less than 2 hours away... i had never been there before. this was my first time. i go to philly all the time though. it was a great first experience. except the roy rogers we had to eat dinner at on the way home.. x( that wasn't a great experience. but they did have chipotle sauce. but that didn't make up for it completely.
sorries, i still don't have pictures of banana's grave up here. i duno if i can bring myself to go out there. it's extremely hot outside AND it's really sad to be near the grave. there's this aura of sadness. what should i name my next beta?
