Summary: Sakumoto + ice cream leads to confessions and memories coming back. Or something like that.

Jun had phoned Sho to invite him over to his place for ice cream. They both had been working hard lately, and had gotten few chances to see each other. Neither had confessed yet, but Jun liked to look at their relationship as something more than merely bandmates or even friends. However, he was content just sitting with the older man and watching TV. Of course, adding ice cream made it all the better.

Sho tapped three quick knocks on the door to Jun’s apartment once he arrived. After hearing a “come in!” from the inside, he opened the door slowly to Jun’s kitchen. The younger man was at his counter, putting the finishing touches on what looked like sundaes.

“Those look amazing,” Sho mumbled as he pulled off his shoes, staring in Jun’s direction. Jun looked over his shoulder with a smirk, sucking on one of his fingers, staying infuriatingly silent. As he went back adding the cherries on top, Sho walked over to him and put his chin on Jun’s shoulder. “They really do look good, Ma-chan.”

“Get out of here,” Jun laughed, playfully swatting Sho away. “Go find something on TV or something. I’m almost done.”

“You look done to me,” Sho added, grabbing his bowl from Jun’s hand. He made his way to Jun’s couch and TV, with Jun following closely behind. They sat down nearer than they would ever dare in public, but far enough away to have some space between them.

“You know, you’re a little demanding coming in to someone’s house and acting that way.” Jun looked at Sho with mirth in his eyes once they settled in, but Sho was concentrating on the TV. “It’s also rude to ignore someone in his own home.” Sho was provoked to grin slyly, but he never turned his attention from the TV. “Fine,” Jun concluded, shoveling a spoonful of the sundae into his mouth.

After sitting in near silence for a few minutes, the only sound being the soft clinking of metal on china and the hum of the TV, Sho finally felt Jun’s eyes on him. What Jun noticed, and it seemed like Sho hadn’t, was that there was a short trail of ice cream dribbling from the older man’s mouth to his chin. Sho’s heartbeat sped up when Jun leaned over and hastily licked the ice cream off of his chin.

Sho blinked as Jun pulled back, his eyes growing huge, and he looked down into his bowl as his face turned red. He could sense Jun watching him from out of the corner of his eye, but Sho pretended to be indifferent about it and took another bite of ice cream.

Deliberately, Sho pulled the spoon out of his mouth slowly, allowing a drop of ice cream to make its way down from the corner of his mouth. His heart rate still hadn’t returned to normal, but Jun leaned over again and licked the ice cream off, slowly trailing his tongue over the slight stubble there. Sho’s breath hitched when Jun didn’t stop and ran his tongue over Sho’s full bottom lip. He let out a slight sigh as Jun pulled away. His eyes made their way toward Jun, his face following slowly, body turning at a snail’s pace, and he blinked owlishly at Jun. The younger man smiled at him and brought his lips to Sho’s, who surprised him by meeting him halfway. Jun’s lips were soft and sweet, but cold, and he was only slightly distracted by Jun’s hands in his hair. It was an experience unlike any Sho had lived through before. Jun ran his tongue over Sho’s lips again, taking in the sweet stickiness that was left on them. Sho shivered and raised his hands to grab onto Jun’s upper arms, parting his lips for Jun to explore his mouth. The younger man pushed his tongue into Sho’s waiting mouth, and ran it lightly over Sho’s molars, sweeping it down to taste his tongue. When Sho pushed his tongue in to investigate Jun’s mouth, he found that Jun’s mouth was cold and sweet but slightly warm, just like his lips. All of this made for an extremely delicious kiss, and the two took their time exploring each other’s mouths, reveling in the mix of warm and cold along with sweet.

When they finally could breathe no more, they parted, and Jun brought his forehead to rest on Sho’s. The sound of the TV came back into focus, but Sho wasn’t concerned about it. “I love you,” Sho whispered when he caught his breath, and watched as Jun gradually opened his eyes to look back at him.

“I love you, too,” Jun responded, placing a quick peck on Sho’s lips. He let go of Sho, fingertips brushing along Sho’s arms, to move the nearly empty bowls from their laps to the coffee table, and returned to the waiting man next to him. They kissed slowly again, with not as much sugar, but just as much sweetness. Sho pushed his body as close as possible to Jun’s as he could, feeling like he was trying to melt them together. Jun responded back with an even more dizzying kiss than before.

In the middle of it, Sho put his hands on Jun’s chest and gently pushed him to lie down on the couch. Jun obeyed, wrapping his arms around Sho’s neck. Sho made himself break the kiss in order to trail kisses from Jun’s jaw to his ear. Stopping to nibble there, Sho smiled when his ministrations elicited a sigh from Jun. He wasted very little time as he moved down Jun’s neck to suck on his collarbones.

As if having been struck by lightning, Sho stopped. Jun looked up at him expectantly, waiting. “What’s wrong?” He questioned, tangling his fingers in Sho’s hair.

“I-, well, we just got together, and I don’t want to go too fast and do something we’ll regret later-“ Jun had stopped Sho with a feather-light kiss on the lips.

Jun let go and looked Sho in the eyes. “It’s okay. We don’t have to do anything else for now. There’s no need to rush this, because I don’t think either of us are going anywhere.” Jun placed another kiss on Sho’s lips, nibbling softly on the corner of his mouth. “If this is really love and not just like, I think we’ll be seeing more of each other.” Sho smiled, almost getting lost in a photo shoot in the very distant past.

“So you really love me? Not just like me?” Jun got a faraway look in his eyes as he seemed to have been taken back to the same memory that Sho nearly got lost in a moment ago.

“I love you, more than I did back then. And I’m not afraid to admit it like I was in those days.” Jun brought Sho’s lips to his, giving him a tender kiss as confirmation.
