SJ Talk from TV Guide 6.18

Jun 09, 2010 12:16

Q1: Recently, I’ve started running marathons. Is there anything new you’ve started?
Tochigi Prefecture, female, 10s

Jun: I used to play guitar until I had some setbacks, but lately, I’ve started again.
Sho: That’s from our debut time, right? I remember Matsujun messing with the guitar when we were filming for “V no Arashi.”
J: Yep. But I didn’t really play songs, just plucking around. Does Sho-san have anything like that?
S: Um, actually, I’ve been playing the piano lately. In the past, I started playing the electric piano at 3, and played for about 10 years.
J: You’ve done it for that long. I’ve heard you occasionally, and you’re really good!
S: I don’t really say much about it, so no one really asks, lol.  Shall we have a guitar and piano session sometime?
J: We could play Arashi’s “Tomodoinagara” or something.
S: Let’s do it while losing our bearings, lol. [1]

Q2: Right now, I’m making a secret hideout. Do you have any advice for me?
Tokushima Prefecture, male, 10s

J: I made a secret hideout in the space between buildings. If I would take manga and toys there, adults would get really mad at me. I remember they made me clean it all up, lol.
S: I made one at the octopus slide in a park. I liked to have all of my friends come there.
J: A secret hideout is rather romantic, isn’t it? I looked for a lot of places when I was young.
S: So, does the secret hideout pro Matsujun have any advice to give?
J: First choose the site, then make the hideout. Then take a cardboard box and draw a symbol on it with a magic marker, and your hideout will be even cooler!
S: I see. I think if you have a flashlight, it would be good. I flashlight really has a secret feeling, doesn’t it?

Q3: What kind of dressing do you put most on your salad?
Gunma Prefecture, female, 20s

J: My favorite dressing is sesame seed, but I what I eat most on my salad is balsamic vinegar.
S: Heh~. I like Italian.
J: Do you use mayonnaise?
S: I really don’t.
J: I used to like it, but lately I don’t use mayonnaise. Also, the cabbage with tonkatsu, I like to have the sauce and soy sauce.
S: Well, next time, I’ll definitely use Matsujun’s balsamic vinegar.
J: You should only use a bit of balsamic vinegar and expensive things at first. They can cost $200-300 bucks a pop.
S: Oh my gosh, really?!
J: But cheap ones are okay if they’re concentrated. I definitely recommend this.

[1] "Tomadoinagara" means 'to lose one's bearings', so Sho's making a pun ^^;;
