Spring Break

Since Vox is being uncooperative, I'm posting here.
Hehe, well, this week was spring break.  I managed to finish HYD2 in 3 days and then I watched the movie.  Yes, the movie....if you haven't watched it, I recommend you go find it somewhere and watch it!!  Best movie ever ^^  *mild spoiler*  The best part was when Domyoji had go to talk to a truck driver in English.  I thought I was going to die laughing, but actually his English was pretty good.  Better than self-proclaimed English king.....don't worry, you're still my favorite Ai-chan!  *spoilers over*  Oh, and on both of the magazines, there were tiny Engrish mistakes.  I took screen shots, but this internet is too slow to upload them on, so I'll upload them tomorrow.
Now for my thoughts on the new PVs....I love all three of them and I'm really kind of sorry I was too cheap to buy at least one of the DVD versions of the CD. On the other hand, the karaoke versions are really beautiful (especially Believe's), so I guess it kind of evens out since I bought the Regular version.
Ok, Believe's live version is really really good.  However, the star of the video is still undo onchi.  I guess even being the main reason for the song isn't enough to make you dance well.  I know your forte isn't dancing, Sho-chan, but I still love you <3  Aiba is a bit fast in some places, but at least he was able to actually do the moves, out of time though they were....><  Don't worry, I've capped the best spots and will post them tomorrow.  Of course, the rap makes up for all of Sho-chan's mistakes, because it is certainly the best part.  I'm not sure why I'm so entranced by the green lasers, but I am.  And the lyrics....さすが翔ちゃん、ね?  They're just what we expect from our Saku-rap.  I also like the water running over the walls in that hallway thing, but I'm surprised that it's Jun who touches the walls.  I also like the water transitions, but I could do without the shots of the grass and greenery.  I know it's a brand new world and all, but a tree in the middle of a building??  Overall, a really good video.  Everyone looks so hot.  I find myself loving Nino's new haircut a lot.....  Oh, and I did a count of how many single shot each member got throughout the vid, like I did for the "truth" video, but I left my score card at home....  I do remember that Sho had the most, but only because of the rap part.  Jun actually had the next most, but most of his shots were really short, for example, he got the "It's a brand new world" shot the first time through.  The other three were tied, if not very close.  I'll give this one a 4.5 out of 5.
The animated version is so very adorable.  It's every thing I expected it to be and yet not.  I expected there to be a lot more talking from the boys, but it was more of one long fight sequence.  I think the longest line was from Sho in the very beginning.  I didn't expect Riida to be that good at the few lines he did have and actually, I think he and Nino did the best.  Although, as the one with the best control over his voice, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.  Aiba's part was the best, with the puppies and all.  I would watch that anime if Arashi was able to do it.  Not quite as good as the live version, but good none-the-less.  4 out of 5.
And last, Kumori nochi, kaisei.  I really have nothing bad to say about this video.  Oh-chan was perfect in every way.  He seemed to have different moves from the background dancers, so I really had no one to compare him with, although I didn't like the female dancers.  It seemed like the male ones did really well, but the girls weren't as good.  My mom was glancing at the beginning of the video from the side of the computer, and she thought he was Clay Aiken.  I really don't see the comparison, but I'm more used to Japanese people than her.  He really was adorable in this video anyway. 4.5 out of 5 (because of the dancers).
I also watched a lot of D no Arashi! videos this week.  They were the very last ones, from 109 to the end.  My favorite was MatsuPi shopping (Jun-Nino) with the daikon peeler, slicer, and the sushi and onigiri makers.  My other favorite was the first MatsuPi shopping where they sucked tissues out of a tissue box with a commercial vacuum truck and then sucked up a balloon.  My little brothers usually like ones like those and the A no Arashi ones, so they especially thought the vaccuum one was hilarious.  Aiba's pool challenge of trying to breathe underwater with green peppers was really funny too.  I don't think there's an A no Arashi that I don't like.
Since I've been on spring break, I haven't been able to download any TV shows this week because the internet is so slow here.  So....I'll write up my report on those next week some time.  No promises, though ;)
じゃあ、バイバイ!
