What sounds of the night in nature may have are nonexistent in the city. It's a useless observation, but there you have it. Even in Edge, in the more industrial parts of the Sectors, bugs were a rare sight. The higher the number of the Sector, the more it had a complete absence of smell. It was more than disturbing, and it reminded him why - among other things - he never really stayed so long in the city. He should, perhaps, have been on his way to check up on the others, but he wasn't. Walking was less of an exercise and consisted more of opportunities - there were more unexplainable factors that he liked, and he hoped to find something or another along the way. So he'd started at the lowest of Sectors, and was on his way upwards. He was traveling through Six now, alert and awake despite his full day of activity.
It was less of a choice and more of a way of paths that brought him to be traversing a road a little bit more full of people than he had been expecting, and he glanced briefly at the Honeybee Inn - that would explain it a bit more - before moving to continue on.
