Who: Humility, Reeve, Lucrecia
Status: Closed.
When: 6:01am.
Where: Sector 4.
What: Following a busy night, Humility (with Lucrecia in tow) decides to pay Reeve a small visit while delivering the morning paper to him.
The remainder of the evening had been busy for the blonde Virtue as she cleaned up the mess of the Jenova child's retreat. They had all felt the exact moment that Aurelius had been attacked and slain, and while all but Zeal hadn't been present, they each reacted in the same manner. The act was simply intolerable, and while the face of BioFuse was rumoured to be recovering in hospital, it had left Humility to clean up the situation.
It had been easy enough, however, and after a few well place phone calls all the virtue had to do was wait.
Everything had been prepared for, and she had called Broken Edge reporters to give them an 'eye-witness' account to the events that unfolded just outside of Sector 4. Granted any reference to Zeal and her involvement was omitted, and the blame placed solely on the dear General. It had been far too easy to fabricate the events to their advantage, as the press was more than willing to write about any little detail regardless of just who it impacted.
That thought brought the barest hint of a smile to her face as she watched the entrance to the building she was standing on the roof of; or more particularly, the two guards stationed out front of the garage door of the studio apartment complex. Reaching out her hand to rest on top of Lucrecia's head, her fingers slowly ran through the course fur as Humility's attention was stolen by the Broken Edge delivery van. Sighting the papers being thrown from the back, she waited until it had tossed the WRO President's edition on the sidewalk and disappeared further on down the street before she made her move.
Signalling for Lucrecia to follow, Humility leapt down from the top of the roof. She landed gracefully in a crouch position directly between the two stationed guards.
"What th-"
Before the guard could even finish his sentence Humility was already in action. Slamming her hand directly into the man's windpipe, she ignored the way he gasped for air and grabbed at their throat as the virtue turned her attention to the second guard who was now raising their gun at her. Smirking at the useless display of power, she transformed the materials within the concrete sidewalk into a palm sized handgun. Pointing it directly at the second guard, Humility ignored his order to put her weapon down and surrender, and chuckled lightly instead. "I hardly think I'll be doing such things, but you might want to consider your own situation. Oh, too late it seems."
Humility smiled charmingly at the bewilderment in the other's eyes at her words, but said nothing further as Lucrecia leapt out and took care of the useless man for her. Pushing herself up to stand as the both guards fell, Humility tucked the newly formed handgun within the holster against her thigh before moving over and searching their bodies for the card she required.
"Lucrecia, would you be a dear and get the paper for me?" She asked while continuing on with her search. It didn't take long before she found the keycard, and moments later, Humility gestured for Lucrecia to follow as she swiped it through the keypad and waited for the garage door to open. "Really, you'd think that the president of the WRO would have better security at his personal residence." The virtue offhandedly said before waltzing directly through the now open garage and over towards the elevator that would take them both directly up to Reeve's studio apartment.
Swiping the card through a second time, she ignored the way that the garage door began closing just before the elevator doors slid open and granted them both access. Stepping inside, she waited until Lucrecia had joined her before pressing the single floor button and waited for the doors to close and take them up. Fortunately Reeve seemed to have a little bit of intelligence, and the left the lift completely devoid of the music typically played within them. That was one good strike for the man if nothing else.
"Our objective here isn't to injure physically the man at all, but it's about time our dear saviours of the world just how powerless they truly are." Humility began explaining as she reached down to pull the paper out of her companion's mouth. Glancing down towards Lucrecia, she continued with a hint of amusement in her voice as she tapped the paper against her temple playfully, "By showing them the fruits of our labour of course."
The elevator pinged when they'd reached their level shortly before the doors slid open to the large dark room. "Pity all of our efforts will be seen as Sephiroth's actions though." Humility softly murmured before stepping into the studio room. "Now where would our dear President be I wonder?"
