What: Tifa opens the restaurant, Barret stops by while the kids are at school to rant about the latest BioFuse news.
Things were usually slow in the morning. Tifa didn't mind so much as it allowed her to open shop a little later and take time to walk Denzel and Marlene to school, but it became a drag sometimes to sit there alone and watch the ceiling fans slowly rotate as the occasional but rare customer trickled in for some breakfast or an early drink. Even cleaning didn't keep her occupied for that long; before she knew it, she had the place spotless again. Of course she'd have a visitor every now and again or maybe Cloud would be home for breakfast, but today, the bar hostess hadn't found herself so lucky.
With the doors open and a neat, little bell attached to inform her of any customers, Tifa was left to her own devices. Sipping a cup of tea with honey and lemon, she sat at one of the tables closest to the expansive bar set-up in the back of 7th Heaven with a paper spread out in front of her. Such a comfortable, routine act did little to soothe her with the headlines proclaiming BioFuse's latest, humble proclamations, which of course took the chance to take digs at the WRO, and before long, the dark-haired woman was up and about, pacing back behind to bar to clean to the glasses for the third time. Her own opinions on politics were not so positive in the first place, so disgusted was she generally by them, but to have a company trying to compete for some kind of World Savior title with other people who were genuinely trying to help Midgar along with the rest of the world made her sick.
But as angry as it made her to see, Tifa knew with the presence of a well-practiced sigh that there wasn't much she could do. She wasn't a politician, which was why she did all she could by helping out Reeve where she could and staying out of the political spotlight.
