Night Falls
The sky overhead was clear, but even so, the stars beginning to poke through the atmosphere couldn’t be seen from Edge as the years of smog continued to hover around the area. A cool wind had been blowing for the entire day, and yet it wasn’t until the warm caress of the sun’s light faded that the iciness of its touch became apparent. There wasn’t a cloud in sight as far as the eye could see while the waning moon hanging high up into the sky continually became further predominant as the sun finally set and the night begun.
