What: Lapis WEAPON attempts to find itself a meal, but instead, it finds itself with more than just dinner.
Every movement made was measured. One leg would slowly be placed down before the next would decide to move. There was a definite feeling of hunger dwelling in the pit of its stomach, but it went ignored while the creature stalked its prey. It paused when they did, and ducked behind the trashcan as they bent down to retie the laces on their shoe. There was a thought of attacking now, but the WEAPON knew it was still too far away to land a successful hit, and so it waited in the shadows until they came just that little bit closer.
Keeping itself low to the ground, the muscles along the length of its legs all tensed in anticipation while its hind claws gripped onto the pavement. Moments passed in silence, and soon enough the human was on the move again. Their footsteps were echoing louder with each passing moment, and as a rat scurried out from the bin across from where the beast lay in wait, it drew the humans attention away from any other possible threat just long enough for the WEAPON to attack.
Darting out from behind its hiding place, the dragon tore down along the length of the alleyway towards its target. They turned at the sudden movement, and the sound of their scream died out on the tip of their tongue as the WEAPON leapt forward with a roar, and sunk its teeth and claws into their tender flesh.
