I'm truly becoming enamored with your take on Luna. I love the way she takes what Draco thinks he wants and steers him toward that, along with helping him find what he really needs.
It's sad that it takes being immersed into others happy memories to come to grips with the fact that he hadn't any true happiness in his life to share. Draco may have initially contacted Luna for the wrong reasons, but it was the best error in judgment he's made to date. *grins*
This was very sweet and a great way to start my day. Thank you!
I like my Luna, too. ;) Well, I like anyone who'll take a chance on someone otherwise given up on, you know? It's not one of my strengths, so I practice it with Luna.
I agree about Draco (but I admit that I don't see him as becoming truly penitent about anything without a lot of encouragement).
Also? Yay, you like this! After our discussion of your prompt, I wasn't sure that you would; I went all fluffy, and you had darker ideas (that intrigued me, but the muse went another way).
Dearest, I have no doubt that if the fluffy approach didn't work to this Luna's satisfaction, that she would have been capable of something a bit less warm and fuzzy. Especially with this particular Pensieve charm available. *grins*
Fluffy suits my mood this week, unlike the time period in which we chatted about the prompt. *squishes you*
Just lovely! Thats what happens when a person starts thinking he can pull one over on Luna. She wins big time! I like how she worked out the arthimancy ahead of time. Smart girl!

excellent characterizations and a very clever premise for Draco's "rehabilitation" - awesome all around.

I'm so pleased that you like it; I kind of let this one grow after imagining Luna's version of "retribution." :P
