Stuffing goes inside of the bird; dressing is baked in a dish.

It was a dreary, cold day yesterday, and I was craving comfort food, so I made an extra herbaceous bread stuffing:



It went nicely with some rotisserie chicken and emergency gravy, particularly given how nice and crusty its sides got by baking it in the cast iron pan-yum! I would have made green bean casserole to go with it, but that had to wait until today because I was out of canned green beans. (I make a lovely fresh version of green bean casserole, but it's not as comforting. ;P)

It's again cold and wet; I believe I'll bake a pumpkin pie to go with the leftovers, today's addition of casserole, and baked zucchini with herbs and Parmesan.
