snapecase has a community presence at Dreamwidth. If LiveJournal goes away, the next run of the fest will be held at 
snapecase. Please feel free to join the community (I will tart it up when I've time). As well, if you're archiving your Snape Showcase works at AO3, there is a related tag to use to help people find them: Community: snapecase.
Please note that I'm not planning to migrate any of snapecase's prior works (or the works posted to my retired communities hogwarts_houses, severus_shorts, snuna_exchange, and sshg_promptfest) because I don't hold licenses to those works; legally, they are not mine to move.
That said, if you were a participant in any fest I've ever run and cannot find your files, I've got 'em. Email me at iulia_linnea [at] yahoo [dot] com with the email you used during the fest in question, and I'll send them to you. If you'd like your comments, you'll have to go to the relevant fest entry and save it yourself.
I've been on LiveJournal since '04 and will miss it terribly if it goes down, but fandom will continue elsewhere. As difficult as it may feel to club together in happy fannish activity when so many people are suffering in the world, I think it right to indulge in things for which we are grateful, things that many people would love to be enjoying if they could. We can help and we can play and we can witness and we can live. The alternative doesn't bear thinking about.
