snapecase's recent poll and what it means for the fest's 2021 run
snapecase's recent poll, now closed, tells me that we may not be able to run a complete fest this year. A complete Snape Showcase is comprised of fest "weeks" that include works from each age-range category.
With that in mind, sign ups for the Snape Showcase open tomorrow. If all the categories are requested, I'll begin assigning them on a first come, first served basis on 8 September. I'm waiting one week to ensure that there will be enough sign ups to support a complete fest, however small. That said, I may need to move to people's second and third choices in order to run the fest at all.
Why not run the fest with whichever categories people request, you ask? Because the point of the Snape Showcase, for me, is to celebrate Snape throughout his ages-if I can't do that, I'd prefer to do other things. 2020's been a shit year, and I want to begin 2021 with something entirely Snapeful. *points to icon*
If you're flexible with regard to your category assignment, please let me know when you sign up for the fest tomorrow-and please promote snapecase!
