Well, I am back from California!! What an amazing weekend. First of all, Holly & Jacob's wedding was absolutely gorgeous. I'm not sure much could top it --- It was at a small vineyard called Hans Fahden, with a beautiful little bridge, a lily pond, flowers everywhere, views of Napa Valley, and it was just so intimate.
There were about 45 guests and then the wedding party was 15, so it was the perfect size. She looked amazing. There really aren't words to describe the whole thing. Just picture-perfect. Her and Jacob are so cute!! I think the best part of the wedding was when they recited the vows, because they wrote their own.
He was pretty choked up when he read them, as were the guests - and even the groomsmen :) She pretty much lost it when she read hers :) It's hard to explain since I can't replicate what they said but oh man, it was wonderful.
And the reception was held in this volcanic ash cave at the vineyard! I know it sounds strange but it was incredible! what an ambiance. Needless to say, we had some very tasty wine at the reception, hehe.
I have a few pics below.... It was just so much fun to be there and part of her wedding, with a bunch of us together. (4 of us were friends from high school and then the other bridesmaids were from Purdue :) )
Anyway, yeah the whole day was great! My camera died halfway through, so I don't have pics from the wedding, but I will definitely post them soon when my friend e-mails me --- They both looked exquisite!
Heeeee, and I definitely caught the bouquet. ow ow.
San Francisco was awesome, too! I'll definitely be heading back there sometime... We went to the famous Haight and Ashbury area, though, which was interesting!! :)

Holly's dress was SO PRETTY. A tan color with a brown ribbon ,and gorgeous detail. I loved it.
bridesmaids wore black dresses w/the sunflowers :)
