The vocabulary part was the worst. I barely studied before I took the test and did very well on math and analogy (before there was a written section). I'm not a math whiz and hardly studied, but did very well on the math. It's relatively easy.

I then studied all the time for the vocab and took practice tests on the computer constantly. My score kept going down. and down. and down.

The good news was, IU didn't care that I failed the vocab section and let me in because they gave me practically straight A's in undergrad and not to do so would be retarded of them.

Also, just from my biased position, I stand by my statement that journalism grad school is completely pointless. I think you said you were thinking of something else to major in, but I still think you are in a really good place and have no reason to go to grad school.

Seriously, it's put me behind of where I was before I went in the first place. Except because of grad school I am getting married... but, you know, that wasn't my purpose. So, basically, I paid about $20,000 and lost at least that much income to buy a husband.

/negative anti-grad school grant.

er, RANT, not grant. Apparently, I didn't learn how to write at grad school either. :)

yes yes, I also agree that with an undergraduate degree in print journalism, there's virtually no reason to go to grad school, unless its for teaching...or if you had an undergrad degree in something completely different. I wouldn't be going to grad school for journalism.

Well, as long as that's straight. Who ever knew I'd be against people furthering their educations? When did this happen? I blame IU!!!

(I did buy a very nice husband though)

Me too... well, Bloomington anyway. But somebody has to be a scapegoat for my meager income!
