Okey doke:

- Let's see... I probably started stuydying about a month before the exam. I got one of the Kaplan study books with the CD ROM and on it you can take practice tests that look just like the actual computer test. One of the big things with the Kaplan book is to get you familiar with the computer instructions and stuff so that all you have to concentrate on is the actual test questions. It wasn't bad taking it on a computer. And you get your scores back (with the exception of the writing parts, which are actually read by a human) immediately after you finish, which was nice.

- Math and I aren't the best of friends, either. But honestly, after I went over the teaching parts of the CDROM, I did better on the math than on the verbal, which surprised the hell out of me. I really recommend getting a study book with a CDROM. They'll take you through the math stuff with little games and quizzes and stuff and it makes it pretty easy to relearn all that stuff you haven't thought of since you were 16. :)

- Vocab, vocab, vocab. If there's one thing that I think would have improved my scores, it would be learning more vocab. I didn't think the math was all that hard (and I am Not a math person), but the more vocab you can cram in your brain, the better. The study guide I had had lists of common GRE words in the back of it and stuff like that.

- Analogies can suck my cock. They were the hardest part of the test for me and I don't understand what they prove. :P

Good luck, hon! :D
