Thought it was very interesting to see this, but even more so as to how it happened. To quote someone from the forums who knows about this.
The article misses the best part about the law: It was placed inside a bill that was supposed to overhaul port security.
Don't know if the above quote has any validity to it, but it would make sense seeing how this ban wasn't to be expected at all.
