So sick and tired of waiting
Until the trademarks in your cheeks
Start inviting me
To play between the hole from where you speak
So I have been extremely busy since spring break started. Friday I got my car back, which is running awesome now, which made me pumped. It cost quite a bit, but hopefully it will be in good condition for a long time now and be worth it.
Saturday I went to Boston with Eric, Caleb, Beth, and Swift. We protested some ScientLOLogy, which has been extremely well
documented already. Hung out in Haverhill for a while after the protest, and headed home around midnight. Oh snap, I just remembered I still have a candlepin bowling ball in my backseat XD
Sunday I relaxed most of the day, and got a surprise IM from Steve for what ended up happening on Monday.
Monday Steve and I went to Waterville Valley to shred up some mountain. He skied, I snowboarded. I was pretty worried I wouldn't pick it back up fast at all, but amazingly by the third time down I was only messing up 1-2 times a run, and they were very minimal falls. When I fell I would usually just high five the ground and fly back up and continue back down, because snowboarding is awesome like that.
It was a pretty comical day as well, including losing a glove and trying to find it, bailing off a chairlift because Steve lost his ski, sitting on a chairlift with two old dudes and listening to them talk about which mountains had no snowboarders O_o, and getting an ice beard.
Unfortunately towards the end of the day I took a huge spill right after I lost my glove, got nasty snow burn on my hand, and got banged up pretty bad which threw me out of the zone. I didn't get back into it until the last two runs, but by then I was just hurting so bad that even minor falls felt like death and suffering, so I called it a day at 3:30 and packed up while Steve got two more runs in. Overall it was a fun day though, and I'm glad I remember how to snowboard as well as I do. I definitely need to go more next winter now that I know I can.
Then there was today. And well, maybe I can post about that sometime in the near future, but for now, I'll just say I had a lot of fun :]
Tomorrow I will probably try and get on top of my Logic Design lab to get that out of the way before the weekend. Other than that, I have no real plans than to take it easy and get my bearings for the remainder of the vacation, which so far seem to include hanging out with Rob and Steve, and a lot of homework.
Oh, and I want one of
these so badly. D: Too bad I'm a poor college kid. Baaawwwww!
Oh well... ciao! :P
