(no subject)
i'm creating a new journal that's going to be friends only. i was going to make this one friends only but that'd mean going back through 20 months of entries and switching their security level. so, if you want to be added to the friends list of the new one when i get it up and running, COMMENT!
what a day so far. around 400 my dad came into my room and asked me if my hamster died. i was like 'uh, no? did she?' he said he didn't know but that she wasn't in her cage and he and my mother just assumed that she did. so, on the hamster hunt we went. we searched the basement for over an hour and FINALLY found her in the heating vents. the way she got out of her cage is extremely obvious. her water bottle drops into her cage from the top and instead of being in its hole, it was laying down in her cage. there's absolutely no way that it could fall into the cage so someone [ie: brother and friends] had to have taken it out and put it there, thus giving her the opportunity to climb up the side and out of the hole.
i guess my parents spent like a half hour today looking at hamsters at petsmart cause they were going to get me a new one but didn't know which one i would want. i thought that was nice of them. :)
hmm, yesterday was kristy's birthday. so all of us [christine, lauren, mell, stephanie, megan, katie, matt, chris, and kara] pregamed it at her house. then we took the two minute walk to over to john's. they had cases of miller and a full keg for the event. it was good. i was definitely a little tipsy but still able to comprehend absolutely everything and speak in complete sentences. yay for that. christine, mell, and i left way early...chris had work in the morning so we really didn't have a choice. it was awesome seeing everyone, though.
