quote of the day:

so i was lying in bed last night just looking at the and i was thinking, "what the hell happend to my ceiling???"

thought of the day:
aah yess....that time of year again.....

:D

reminds me too much of seattle though...lol yup each time theres cold weather imma post up an entry like this (check out the ones from last year lol)

ah yes...seattle- the land of coffee and rain. ella would love it :D but truth be told, its not always rain- during summer you DO get the occasional sunshine :D of course best time to go up there is during winter- especially my little town of marysville. you take the freeway down and get off on exit no.199 :D from there, take a right, pass a taco bell and a bank of the west, and turn right and you'll go into city center motel- best known for its friendly service :) my dads first and only job in seattle...we lived there, behind the office. small room, about 20 feet by 30 feet or so. that was it. there was a small kitchen, about 7 x 7....and there was a door that led down to the basement, and while you were going down the stairs, if you looked up at the ceiling at the right angle in the right lighting, you could see the attic....it was pretty cool how it worked- look at it from any other angle and lighting, you cant see it :) we got free cable too :D and free TVs :) every friday night, my mom would go out to church, so it would be just me, my dad, and my brother....it would be the only times where my dad actually spent time with us....but those fridays were just awsome. my dad would order pizza and we would turn on the tv and watch scoobydoo and w/e else was on cartoon network (nickolodeaon wasnt so big back then). then my dad would turn on a baseball game, or a football game- i would find them boring but years later i would realize how much i learned about the two games from just watching with my dad. those were the good days....

lol i remember this one guy- name was leo; he literally lived in his room. room 200. nice college guy. left huge tips :) i know because i would help my dad out when he cleaned the rooms, and he always saved leo's room for last because leo liked to sleep in sometimes, or he would be busy doing work....but i think my dad and i both knew that it wasnt just that; there was always something really.....really home-ly in his room- he had nice personal touches to it- several posters, an electric guitar with no amp (so he could practice without bothering anyone)...he was a really cool guy- college guy and i saw him wtih a lot of ladies, but he made sure to be appropriate about it- never left anything explicit out in his room cause he knew i cleaned with my dad :) but heres the really coolest thing (just to get an idea of how long he lived there)- he knew when my birthday was, and he got me two toy cars- two toy cars that i've treasured and that i still have :) he was almost family. lol i remember once, on my brothers birthday, leo bought him an ice cream cake....but of course one day....he checked out....it was the saddest day of our lives....we even had a little party for him in the lobby....he was sad to go too, but he told us that he applied to an east coast college and got accepted, and he wanted to chase his dreams so he had to go....before he went though, he gave me one final words of advice that ive never forgotten to this day-

"kid, always use a condom."

lol nah jp, he said to me:

"there are people out there who are gonna try and stop you from what you're trying to achieve....but you know what you gotta do? you just gotta keep fighting, keep giving it your all...and if all fails....hey, you'll go down knowing that you fought to your last moments. just remember- people dont care how much you know until they know how much you care."
