footrot flats; Dad's fault. He collected the series (for those that don't know, it's a New Zealand comic book series) when they had some kind of offer with the weekend paper to get one per week. He missed a couple, but most are there. I fell in love as a kid and have remained in love. My favourite characters are Horse and Rangi ;)
macgyver; Mum's fault. She used to love MacGyver, so I sat up late at night to watch it with her. And again, fell in love and remained in love. It's his fault I like guys with long hair, I'm sure of it.
ncis; My own fault. I don't even remember how I got into it, probably through Michael having been on Dark Angel? I didn't get into it big time until Cote De Pablo came on.
dirt bikes; Hmm... iffy one. I think what sparked off this love was Hanson's If Only video with the dirt bikes in the desert. There were some awesome shots in that video.
turtles; imcrazybeauty's fault. Long story short we came up with one of our usual random scenarios and I chimed in with the famous Simpsons quote "would somebody please think of the children?!" which remind me of Willy saving the turtles "who will save the wee turtles?! Agh! Somebody save me from the wee turtles!" So now it's always "somebody think of the turtles!" And along with that, my TMNT love was also rekindled with the latest movie. And turtles are just damn cute, alright?! :P
trucks; Dad's fault. He used to drive the old Coca Cola trucks and bring the truck home with him at night. And every now and then I got to go to work with him. So I spent a lot of my childhood years in/around trucks, thus the love. They're also fun to drive :)
road trips; HA. Ok. For as long as I can remember, the family has always gone on a road trip on public holidays (Easter/Christmas/Queen's Birthday/Labour Day/whatever). Either up to Geraldton or out to the country towns to visit family, or just somewhere random we haven't been before. They died off when my parents divorced, but then I went either North or South with Grandad instead. In 1998 I went to Adelaide for thefirst time with Dad (by air) and we drive in 2001 for the first time. I got my driver's license the second that I could and have been driving pretty constant since then, and now obviously I go on my own road trips with anyone who'll come with. And I dunno... you can't explain the magnet of the road to anyone who hasn't been there/done that ^_-

Work = still frustrating, but early mornings are now fun.
New house = being moved into over the next four days, starting now.
Weather = FRICKEN COLD.
Puppies = are too cute. Marilyn has herself a miniature Shih Tzu which fits in my hand at 8 weeks. I want! :(
Bikes = also wanting one. Just need to organise funding. Meh. Especially if I want to get to the US and/or Europe next year. Did order aviators this week though :D
Supernatural = 28 DAYS!
New 3 Doors Down album = KICKS ASS. And they thank Hanson in it too ^_-
Also, I've been on such an Evanesence/The Used/12 Stones kick that I'm thinking of dying my hair black again. Maybe with the rest of the blue I had left over in the fringe/underneath. Thoughts?
