Does anyone else feel a certain obligation to be interesting and/or evocative and/or provocative and/or philosophical whenever they write in these things?

Unfortunately, 48-hour shifts means work is all I have time for. I think my TV has been untouched for months now.

I'm sure anything I attempted to knit would end up looking more horrifying than obnoxious. I used to read or go out with friends, but now I spend my free time catching up on the intern's most precious commodity - sleep.
