A week or so away from these things, and you miss such an absurdly large amount of events. I won't ask for explanations on what passed me by; most of it was, presumably, uninteresting, as long as it involved people beyond my sphere. I do, actually! I mean, that wasn't what I really planned on being, I went to college and everything. But I had a real tough time finding a job in the city, and ended up doing this full time! I make pretty good money doing it, to tell you the truth. It does get a little tiresome at times, though. But I can't complain!

It's certainly a nontraditional career choice, but after all, you profit off our laziness -- which most people possess in spades. I remember hearing garbagemen are surprisingly well-paid. No one wants the job; consequently, the people who do deign to fill the role are rewarded.
