(no subject)
Gosh. One month I go from posting every day, and the next month I practically drop off the face of the earth. Lame, Kathy. Lame.
So I shall bring news to you in dot points:
♥ Christmas was cruisy. Gifts were disappointing on the family front, but the food was awesome enough to make up for it. I've been eating Lemon Merange Pie for breakfast the past few days, so really life is awesome.
♥ I spent Boxing Day in the company of some awesome people at flossums's house for a Friends Christmas. I got an Apron and a book of knitting patterns, but of which I plan to use FREQUENTLY AND WITH RECKLESS ABANDON.
♥ I bought the newest Guitar Hero today with a JB Hi-Fi voucher I got from the parentals for Christmas, instead of a DS. The temptation was there and very very strong. But sir_cumspect reminded me of my goal to save for a computer. This goal is moving steadily ahead folks. I should have enough money in two weeks. Well... Frankly I have enough money now for a laptop, a good one, even. I just don't have enough money for a great laptop, which is what I want.
♥ Related to the point above: I've been working a lot these holidays. I plan on asking James for a day or two off in the new year to hopefully have a rest and maybe go to the Gold Coast to visit animadverted, or to go to Movie World, OR BOTH???
