If Christopher Foyle was here then he'd say that today was a fantastic **** friday.

The Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon. It has been happening to me a fair bit this year, particularly with Ovid's Metamorphoses. But it happens a lot with words that I newly learn. Like 'pejorative'. Which is also one of those wonderful words. Or not so wonderful. But you get the idea! What are some demonstrations of the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon that you have experienced lately?

The Interrobang. Most likely it is the most awesome kind of punctuation ever.

♥ I was talking to zenni last night while she was pattering away on her assignment about how there are some moments in some films that always give me goosebumps-- those moments in film that are truly inspirational, that make you want to get up and dance and sing or at least make you go "Woaaaah!" One of those moments for me is that scene in Jurassic park, when they've arrived on the island, and are in the car, and they crest the hill and there are the brontosauruses standing there and Sam Neill and Laura Dern are both "WOOOW" and the music swells up. Every time it makes me all goosebumpy and wonderful. Is there any particular scene that makes you feel wonderful like that-- where the film makes got it completely right.

fucking fantastic friday!
