(no subject)
So, I have not been updating as much as I would like to. I have been updateing my weight loss journal a lot mroe than my public journal... what have I been up to lately you ask?
Mike got us a wireless media center thingie for christmas so that we coudl watch stuff on the TV that is on our computers, it is REALLY cool! So he downloaded seasons 1-3 of 24 so I could get him hooked on it and watch the seasons I have missed. Last Friday we went out to a bar and mike had a bad mixture of beer, lets say we were up until 4am for the pukefest. I had been drinking water all night so I was comepletely safe to drive, FF to saturday, mike still was not feeling to great so we chilled all day and watched 1/2 of season 1 of 24 DEAR LORD i forgot how good that series was. Mike is liking it ok, he liks BSG better, damn sci-fi geek, haha. I have been knitting through most of season 1 since I saw it MONTHS back with Nick. I am waiting to get into season 2 and see Mikes reaction to the end of season 1.
We have been renting movies lately and nothing to good so GIVE ME SOME MOVIE RECOMENDATIONS PLEASE! He keeps telling me to pick up movies and does not tell me what to get, I personally want to go back to netflix but he is paying for it so we are at Hollywood video with the MVP program (3 out at a time but you have to return them in like 5 days or get a late fee).
I think I am going to file our taxes by the end of the month so we can get on with looking at houses. We actually are gettign $$ back, the whole condo thing will be over, we basically had to pay taxed on 6K (instead of the 10K i thought) and it is a lot less stressful than I thought it was going to be. Now our only worry is how if the condo bullshit coing to affect our credit for a house loan. God I want to get out of this apartment! 2 ppl, 2 cats and 1 70 pound dog living in 730 sq ft. AARRRGGG Plus I want my own knitting room and stuff ^_^ and by October I may have my spinning wheel.
I stil have not really made any friends, I know on Thursday nights and saturday afternoons, and have met a few ppl but no one I have really wanted to hang out with other than knitting. Mike and I chill with this couple, Grem and Missy, they are sool but live like 45 min away from us, but we all meet up for dinner sometimes. I made Missy socks for christmas and she loves them, I also made her 2 simple scarves, grem reports she wears the EVERYwhere, not together of course.
