On the national news today(ABC), there were two stories in which they said that people prayed for something to happen, but their houses still got destroyed by flooding(thankfully, they didn't rely fully on prayer, they lobbied for a levy heavily too). I stopped relying on God gradually over the length of 7 years until I made my atheism official with this identity last year. If God exists, His will will be done no matter what, if the dogma is true. How should prayer change that? It's said that the more people that pray, the more angels are sent on the task. But if it's not God's will, the angels answer to Him. If it's God's will, well, He's God!
God, You can do anything You want, but lay off of my blue suede shoes*.
