I went to the Buddhist temple near my house yesterday. I spent a couple
hours up there. Then, typed some of my paper, which is about the
effects Neo-Confucianism had on Korea, and went to a bar with Jeff,
Larry, and Mike (all West coast kids).
I think the I-House I live in is the only building in Korea that
doesn't have heated floors. The heated floor thing really
rocks. It gets so hot that you don't need a heater. It is
hot enough to heat the whole room. What a good idea.
This is outside the temple. The shape of the leaves are so cool.
This is me chillin on some NORTH KOREAN BEER! It is my favorite
beer in Korea. It kind of taste like apple juice. Note: it
is the only place I have been able to find North Korean beer. The
don't sell it in stores.
This Western bar kicks so much ass. The owner has endless amount
of records. And, the best part, it is less than a five minute
walk for the I-House.
