Details: Met at Mahogany Town at Level 5 (July 10). After learning a little about it, Tarantulas decided the creature was a spider after his own spark and decided to keep it in order to learn more about the world he had just been dumped in. Little did he know, he was very, very right about that assessment.

Despite the fact that Tarantulas is generally awful to his Pokemon, sans the spiders, this one just likes blowing up and causing mayhem, and once Tarantulas caught on to that fact, they began to get along... swimmingly.

Details: Met in Rocket Helicopter at Level 20 (August 16). For the most part, Tarantulas has been using Sonar as a tool - a tool to use wild Pokemon for his own needs, a tool to see what happens if you force a Pokemon to not evolve, a tool in general. The little bat is naturally timid too, so that doesn't help its self-esteem much. Oh well, not Tarantulas' problem. With Arachnia here to not evolve, though, he might be more lenient on the Zubat.
