Okay! Well, I don't want to throw Lindy a big party or anything. I was planning on just taking her out for dinner and a quiet walk through the park. But I think we should all do something together... her friends and families.

How can you not know what YOU said????? Separate things with separate groups is fine but if they are not coordinated then she ends up having plans with 5 different people at the same time. And because a) see parameters and b) she usually doesn't answer.

Um. Well. There's three families plus friends plus you so that's five. Not that some slots can't be filled by two groups but like each group should get to feel special, I mean that sounds wrong and also you are not a group, though I guess you-and-Lindy is LIKE a group and for the purposes of the count it's okay because you should get to be alone-together at some point... I'm doing it again. OK.

Five things in one day seems overwhelming. How much can we schedule that will be realistically enjoyable?

Jake's birthday was way easier.

Lindy and I can celebrate her birthday any time. If the rest of the day is filled with family and stuff, I can celebrate with her the next day. It's fine. I think we should be less concerned with everyone else feeling special... as long as she does, right? I don't want it to be stressful for her, but if you overstress, that will add stress too. But don't stress because I told you not to stress! PLEASE.

That's because all Jake ever wants to do is spend time with you. Duh.

That's not true. He wanted to spend time with his family. And then I had friends come in the evening after dinner. But it was easier because he only has one family and I know who his best friends are.

Okay, let's talk about Lindy. Her families are the Barnses and the Jones-Cages, but I think the Danvers-Parkerses count, too. Maybe we could have a big dinner at the mansion. And then separate small things with friends.
