I'm alright! The life of a waitress is very glamorous, you know. I expect to be asked to sign autographs any day now. I have a pretty full house, though, so I can't let my inevitable stardom get in the way of looking after my family.

"And if I remember right, you said you were a writer and last I checked the news here kind of sucks. I bet if we had reliable information you would be getting those autograph requests."

They sound like jerks. Just keep proving them wrong, people will eventually see the truth. Actions speak louder than words and all that. Most of the time.
[She smiles.] If there was much to write about here, I'd love to do some reporting, though I can't do a newspaper all by myself. Maybe I could fine the time to write up a bulletin, though, after certain incidents. Even when the town seems quiet, the motto of a reporter is that there's always something going on. The question is, would people want to read it?

"As for reading something with real information. I'm not much of a reader myself, but anything is better than hearing about Little Lucy winning the spelling bee or how perfect the weather is expected to be."
